Lifestyle | All Things Healthy: Eat Natural & Aduna

Eat Natural Cereal Bars | The Belle Narrative Blog | lifestyle blog | lifestyle blogger | Health Blogger
I have been obsessed with all things healthy these past few months, so for today’s post I thought I’d share two great health-related brands with you:

...First off, an old favourite!

Eat Natural

The Eat Natural cereals and cereal bars and cereals are a somewhat of a kitchen cupboard staple in my household. All of their products are full of good wholesome ingredients such as oats, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, which you can enjoy with the peace of mind that there is not a preservative or artificial flavour in sight. When it comes to breakfast I like to opt for something healthy but quick and fuss-free, thus the Eat Natural cereals fit the bill perfectly. There are five different varieties and lately I’ve been reaching out for their gluten free toasted muesli with buckwheat:

This cereal contains a gluten free blend of toasted buckwheat and crisped rice with mixed seeds, dried fruit, coconut and a pinch of cinnamon. You don’t have to be gluten intolerant to enjoy it though! This crunchy, indulgent cereal is simply delicious and makes for a yummy way to start the day:

I’m also a big fan of the Eat Natural cereal bars as they’re a great healthy snack [well much healthier than a chocolate bar!] for popping into your handbag and taking on the go with you. The Eat Natural bars come in numerous different flavours (there are currently 13 different varieties I believe), here are a few of my current (very yummy!!) favourites:

almond & apricot with a yoghurt coating: ‘A simple mix of juicy unsulphured apricots, crunchy almonds and coconuts, completely smothered in a smooth yoghurt coating.’ These are sweet and chewy and make for a healthier alternative to a chocolate bar:

dark chocolate with cranberries and macadamias: ‘A grown-up indulgent bar for those who love a sneaky bit of dark chocolate now and then. You’ll also discover a feast of coconut, brazils, macadamias and cranberries.’

These are pure heaven, particularly if you like dark chocolate! This flavour is normally the first to finish in our house - that's how delicious these bars are!

brazil & sultana with peanuts and almonds: ‘A bar simply stuffed with wholesome dried fruits and nuts. Juicy sultanas and apricots with almonds, peanuts and brazil nuts. Pretty straightforward...but also pretty special.’

This bar is very filling – highly recommended for beating the mid-afternoon slump!

As mentioned earlier, these bars are great for taking on the go with you – that includes picnics!

Overall when it comes to healthy, natural food products that taste delicious then I personally vouch for Eat Natural - what can I say, I love this brand! Find out more at www.eatnatural.co.uk.

Secondly, a recent discovery:

Aduna

Aduna is an Africa-inspired health and beauty brand and social business. Their mission is to create demand for exceptional and underutilised natural super-ingredients sourced directly from small-scale producers in rural Africa – starting with two of the most nutrient-dense superfoods on the planet, baobab and moringa. The brand gets their baobab and moringa direct from small-scale producers in Ghana, and since Aduna is a social business, profits are put back into supporting their producers. I have to say that I really love this ethos! So not only is Aduna a great ethical business, but their products are pretty awesome too! I’m really interested in superfoods lately so have been trying out a few samples of Aduna’s superfood powders:

The orange packet contains Aduna Baobab Superfruit Powder: “Aduna Baobab is a 100% natural, nutrient-dense, raw wholefood. It is a rich source of vitamin C, calcium, potassium and thiamin. It is also almost 50% fibre and has one of the highest antioxidant capacities of any fruit in the world.”

…it’s no wonder that Vivienne Westwood and Lily Cole are fans too! I love how easy to use the powder is:

The green packet contains Aduna Moringa Superleaf Powder: “One of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, Aduna Moringa is a 100% organic green superfood made from the naturally-dried leaf of the moringa tree.”

The health benefits are amazing:

“Aduna Moringa Superleaf Powder is a natural multivitamin. It is a rich source of protein and has no less than thirteen essential vitamins and minerals at RDA levels, including iron, making it ideal for vegans and vegetarians. These nutrients combine to give it a wealth of health benefits, ranging from energy release to skin health.”

...once again the powder is very easy to use:

These sachets are easy peasy to use - they're such an effortless way of incorporating some amazing superfoods into your diet!

…okay so I’m sold! I love the fact that both of these products are high sources of antioxidants so I’m definitely going to buy the bigger sized versions to see how I fare in the long run. These are top-selling products so I am very positive about the potential results - great looking skin and increased energy - bring it on!! Find Aduna online at www.aduna.com.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about my current go-to ‘healthy’ brands – are you a fan of these brands or all things healthy too?!

Aimee xx
