AEOS products have always interested me since the brand is all about cutting edge skincare technology merging with completely organic natural skincare – that’s right: no toxic chemicals or synthetics in sight!
I’m particularly fascinated by the fact that the brand use spelt in their products as all AEOS skincare products contain pure biodynamic spelt oil; so yes that’s right, the very grain used to make bread and pasta is in fact a central ingredient in the brand’s products!
Why spelt? Well AEOS say that their “spelt oil is rich in natural Vitamin E and essential fatty acids and boasts excellent antioxidant, moisturising and regenerative properties” – plus “due to the way in which the plant itself is grown, the spelt as an ingredient is very 'available' to the skin for optimal absorption.” (AEOS actually stands for Active Energised Organic Skincare – once you learn more about the brand and how they produce their products, you’ll soon come to realise just how fitting this brand name really is!)
If you too are intrigued by the above, then head over to www.aeos.net to find out more. (I have already had a good thorough read of the AEOS website as I find their holistic approach to skincare really interesting!).
AEOS Optimal Essentials (Blue) Kit
Now recently I have been trialing out the award-winning AEOS Optimal Essentials (Blue) Kit:
About the kit:
"AEOS Optimal Essentials (Blue) Kit is designed for maximum hydration and nourishment. The perfect introduction to determine the product combination that best suits you. Alternatively, the ideal combination of products to take with you whilst travelling to ensure healthy, glowing skin whilst you're on the move.
AEOS products contain natural, organic and biodynamic plant extracts, essences and essential oils, as well as spagyric tinctures of crystal energies, and the waveforms of colour."
The AEOS Optimal Essentials (Blue) Kit contains:
- AEOS Cleansing Oil de-maw 30ml
- AEOS Dew Facial Wash 30ml
- AEOS Gentle Cleansing Lotion (Blue) 10ml
- AEOS Gentle Exfoliant (Blue) 10ml
- AEOS Energising Conditioner 10ml
- AEOS Refreshing Hydrating Mist 30ml
- AEOS Realive Serum 30ml
- AEOS Enriching Moisturiser (Blue) 10ml
- AEOS Beauty Body Shower 10ml
- AEOS Beauty Body Lotion 10ml
The AEOS approach to skincare comprises of a three phases skincare system, which involves the use of multiple products day and night. Don’t worry though, the kit comes complete with instructions making it easy to get to grips with. AEOS say that this three phase skincare system ensures that the products are “received by the skin and penetrate to deeper layers within the skin structure, according to its needs, and enabling the maximum effect.” So naturally I applied the facial products to the skin in accordance with the given guidelines (more information here).
After trialing out these products for just a short time I noticed that:
The products used in the ‘morning’ part of the routine leave you with lovely nourished and hydrated skin. Repeated use of the products results in even more fabulous looking skin: Your skin will look visibly radiant and alive, it will be plumper too! With regards to the products that form part of the ‘evening’ step, well I would say that they seem to really ‘care’ for your skin. I say this because I can actually feel just how moisturised and hydrated these products have made my skin feel – just what my skin needed! The facial products actually sink into the skin beautifully – and perhaps that’s why they give such great results.
It’s still too early for me to try and pick out any individual favourites from this kit, especially since a) I think I love them all, and b) all the products seem to work in perfect harmony together, leaving you with healthy radiant skin. I really love all of the facial skincare products though as they have perked up my skin really effectively. The bodycare products (body wash and body lotion) are lovely too since they smell great and leave the skin feeling soft and pampered. Like all products in this kit, I found them to be very luxurious so they were a real joy to use. I also really like the way that the kit comes packaged - the box folds up neatly making it ideal for popping into your suitcase or weekend bag:
Given the above, I feel that the AEOS Optimal Essentials (Blue) Kit does exactly what it says it does, since it really does deliver on the hydration and nourishment front. The kit serves as an excellent introduction to the brand, especially since it contains 10 different products, which are generously sized. I really enjoyed testing this kit out and think that it would be particularly appreciated by anyone who is fond of quality natural products. Likewise it is great to know that all AEOS products are 100% organic and natural.
I also really like the fact that AEOS practice 'biodynamic' farming, which is one of the most ethical and sustainable forms of agriculture. Thus if you are interested in 100% natural, organic skincare products that have been produced by a company who work in balance and in harmony with the environment, then AEOS is the brand for you.
I hope you enjoyed hearing about AEOS and their Optimal Essentials kit – and if anything you’ve learnt that spelt is not just something that you eat – it is a fabulous skincare ingredient too! With Christmas approaching, I also think that this kit would make a lovely gift - but I particularly recommend it for anyone looking for a hydrating, nourishing skincare system!
What do you think about this highly effective all-natural skincare kit?!
